AR Class Maintenance

Classes are a way to classify your customers. Aside from being a way to organize your customers in reports, classes also have two additional features.

1. When the "Show in SO" flag is checked, any user entering a sales order for this customer will be notified of the customer's class. This message will show the name and description of the customer's class.
2. The priority field is very important when your system is configured to automatically allocate inventory based on customer class. In this situation, customers that are assigned a class with a priority of one will receive goods before customers that are assigned a class with a priority of two, for example.
