Look & Feel

Each user has the ability to choose their own look and feel for the application by choosing a skin. This menu option gives the user several options, including some skins that are holiday themed. The skin that a user selects is specific to that user and will not affect the look and feel settings for any other user.

Each skin affects the following elements:

• the color of the window's border
• the coloring and style of menus
  • the color of the currently highlighted menu item your mouse is hovering over
  • the left-side and right-side background color of the menu
  • the shape and color of menu separators
  • the shape and color of the border around menu button groups
• the color and style of tabs
  • the color of a tab
  • the color of a highlighted tab that your mouse is hovering over
  • the background color behind the tab
  • the shape of the tab
• the color of "white space"
• the color and style of grids
  • the color of border
  • the color of the lines
  • the color of the background behind the captions
  • the style, shape, and color of check boxes
• and many other small things throughout the user interface
