Customer Item Maintenance

Customer Item Maintenance can be reached from two places: Item Maintenance and Customer Maintenance. This area gives you a place to record your customers'  item numbers. This is obviously useful when you service a large customer that uses their own internal item numbers and may or may not know your item numbers.

When viewing this screen from Item Maintenance, the list will be based solely on the item you have selected. You will be presented with a list of all of the customers that have their own item number for this item.

When viewing this screen from Customer Maintenance, the list will be based solely on the customer you have selected. You will be presented with a list of all of the items that for which this customer has an item number.

When your user account is configured to search for item numbers by customer item number, any customer related document will be set to search for items based on either your item number or your customer's. Acclamare will also capture the customer item number you selected so that it can be printed on customer documents.
