Minor Enhancements

3142: Accounts Receivable Adjustments

Sales Invoice Adjustments can now be performed on the subtotal values without requiring an adjustment to the Current Balance. If the Current Balance is adjusted, the Reason field will become required. If the Current Balance is not adjusted, the Reason field is not required.

7338: Bank Deposit

Added Payment Number as a column chooser option in order to help users settle or reconcile their Bank Deposit against the Paygistic Daily Settlement Report.

7747: Counter Sales

Added a feature to allow the user to issue a refund at the end of the counter sale process if the overall balance is a credit amount.

4968: Customer Contact Maintenance

Customer Contact Maintenance can now be accessed directly from the main menu. It can still also be accessed from within Customer Maintenance. This direct access allows sites to restrict users from accessing customer information, but still access and maintain contact information.

2411: Customer Credit

Miscellaneous Credit items can now be added to Customer Credits. This gives the user a means to reduce the credit amount being issued that is independent of restocking fees.

7774: Customer Credit

When creating a new credit, the first editable row in the header is now automatically focused and ready for keyboard entry.

7743: Customer History Inquiry

Lines for customer refunds now display the reference number (check, cc, eft, etc.) from the bank withdrawal from which they were issued.

7763: Customer History Inquiry

This inquiry can now be run based on a payor.

1904: Customer Payment

In order to help the user recognize when they may be entering a duplicate payment for a customer, we're now checking to see if the Payment Reference value the user enters has been used for that customer before. If the reference is a duplicate the user is warned and asked if they want to continue using that reference.

4970: Customer Payment

Added logic to prevent an invoice from being included in the Average Days to Pay calculation if the invoice's Disputed flag is checked.

5100: Customer Payment

Added the ability to edit Notes, Payment Type, and Reference after the payment has been posted.

7320: Customer Payment

The receipt can now be emailed using the standard 'Email To ...' feature.

7426: Customer Payment

Adjusted the routine that automatically applies a payment to multiple invoices. The original routine did the burn down in date order. However, this didn't account for invoices that had the same date, but could not be fully included in the given payment amount. The routine now sorts the documents by date and then by document number in order to avoid this edge case.

2212: Customer Quote

Added a column for Follow-Up date and a column for Quote Cancel Notes which is populated by the same file maintenance area as sales order line cancel notes.

4277: Customer Quote

The feature for adding items from the customer's sales history that exists in Sales Order and Price & Availability is now available in Customer Quote.

Added the ability to Edit Shipping Information so that the user can specify one-time shipping information for Customer Quotes. If released into a sales order, the information is carried forward to the order.

4279: Customer Quote

Added a field for FOB.

7032: Customer Quote

Added Comment Lines to this area. This functionality works the same way it does in Sales Orders and Customer Jobs. If the quote is released into a Sales Order, the comments are carried over to the order.

The Totals screen now contains a value for Estimated Taxes.

Taxable flags have been added at the header and line levels.

2023: Customer Return Receipt

The user can now zero the quantity received or just not check an individual line. That way, they can receive one or more lines without having to receive all lines. However, at least one line must be checked in order to post the receipt.

6884: Customer Statement Printing

Added a new button the the File menu for "Select a Customer ...". This allows the user to quickly print a statement for a specific customer without having to refresh the data for all customers.

7271: Customer Statistics

This inquiry can now be scrolled from one fiscal year to the next, similar to the functionality in Executive Inquiry.

7748: Dynamic Inquiries

Inquiries that are warehouse specific now function differently when in Item Maintenance. Previously, the warehouse chosen was based on the first stock record for the item, if any. Now, it is chosen based on the user's default warehouse. If the user enters the Stocking screen and selects a row, the inquires will be updated to reflect the warehouse associated with that record.

7587: Item Search

Stocked items that have been marked as Inactive will no longer show in bold in the search results grid.

Added Attached Documents to this area.

3753: Promotion Maintenance

Added a new action to add items to a promotion en masse based on product group or manufacturer.

7732: Promotion Maintenance

Added an additional filter to the 'Add Customers' feature for Will Call. The purpose of the filter is to offer promotions to local customers that will be picking up the goods and avoiding shipping costs for the company.

6251: Sales Invoice

The action for Recalculate Sales Tax has been removed. Invoices that have not been posted will now automatically recalculate taxes when applicable fields are changed.

7665: Sales Invoice Post

When calculating commissions, the item's Commission Paid flag is now being taken into account.

3846: Sales Order

Past Due holds are now automatically removed after taking a pre-payment.

7326: Sales Order

Added a warning in the form of a visual clue when the user changes the Pick On date at the line level on a line that has details. The warning alerts the user to the fact that the line level Pick On date has no bearing on the detail(s) Pick On date.

7390: Sales Order

The process that calculates family discount pricing has been rewritten to accommodate sites that use significantly more families than has been historically encountered.

7437: Sales Order

Credit Limit holds are now automatically removed after taking a pre-payment when the terms are Credit Card.

7471: Sales Order

The 'Fax To ...' feature is now automatically populated with the appropriate fax number.

7578: Sales Order

The 'Add Items from Customer History' feature now follows the same search pattern as 'Item Search'.

7734: Sales Order

Added an action that allows the user to see the available lot/serial numbers for the selected line.

7739: Sales Order

Carrier can now be marked as a required field from within Company Required Field Maintenance in the Acclamare Command Center.

7740: Sales Order

When the user changes the Promised By date in the header, they are now asked if they want the system to automatically apply the new value to the lines as well.

7786: Sales Order

When using the ellipsis button to open tracking information from the Tracking Numbers screen, the system is no longer using the WorldShip or FedEx sites. Now, the system is using a Bing search instead. This change accommodates sites that are using RateLinx instead of the direct integrations, and allows for tracking of packages that were not shipped via UPS or FedEx.

668: Sales Tax Adjustment

Sales tax adjustments can now be performed for posted customer credits.

7757: Shipment History Inquiry

Added a new inquiry that shows the full shipment history of a sales order. In this interface, you can locate the sales order by searching for the sales order, the sales invoice(s) generated from the order, or by the tracking number(s). Once the order is located, you will be able to see all sales invoices and tracking numbers associated to the original sales order as well as information about the picker and packer for each shipment.

Bug Fixes

7555: Bank Account Reconciliation

Corrected an unhandled exception that occurred when the user typed an alpha value into the Amount field in the Bank Account Transfer screen.

7722: Bookings

Corrected an issue that lead to credits created from RMAs being booked twice.

7621: Counter Sales

Corrected an issue with estimated taxes. This only occurred at sites using alternate tax rates. The issues occurred when the sale was taxable, the customer was eligible for the alternate rate, the item was taxable, but the item was not set to use the alternate rate. Under this scenario, the regular rate should have been applied in the estimate, but the alternate rate was being used instead. The generated invoice was using the correct rate, but the estimate in Counter Sales was wrong.

7797: Customer Credit

Corrected an issue that prevented a refund against the original credit card payment. This issue was introduced when we made the change in Customer Returns that allows for multiple invoices on a single return.

7546: Customer Document Inquiry

Corrected an unhandled exception that occurred when the user changed one of the date filters to be less than 1/1/1753 or greater than 12/31/9999.

7648: Customer Payment

Corrected an issue that caused prepayments to be reported in Customer Aging twice. When taking a prepayment, the user can no longer uncheck the line in the grid.

7681: Customer Payment

Corrected an issue that prevented an overpayment from being properly deleted when the original payment was reversed.

7705: Customer Payment

Corrected an issue that allowed the user to edit the Credit To Use value to be greater than the actual available amount.

7731: Customer Payment

Corrected an issue with the feature that returns change for cash payments that lead to an out of balance GL entry.

7859: Customer Quote

Corrected an issue that could cause the UM drop-down to include all available units rather than just the item specific units.

7704: Item Maintenance

Corrected an unhandled exception that occurred when using "Save As ..." and electing to copy vendor items to the new item.

7686: Kit Disassembly

Corrected an issue that could lead to an out of balance GL posting that was off by $0.01.

7595: Kit Order

Corrected an issue that allowed the user to Purchase Quantity for this Line even though the status was Completed.

7713: Kit Order

Corrected an issue that allowed the user to reduce the Build Quantity to a value that was less than the quantity that had already been built.

7708: Merge Customers

Due to the intensity of this process, it can sometime error simply due to the number of records in multiple tables that need to be updated. To potentially help alleviate this problem, the system will now attempt to run the process three times prior to accepting the error and giving up.

Corrected an issue that created duplicate records if the user clicked "Build Count" more than once without manually saving between clicks.

7698: Post to Another Period ...

Corrected an unhandled exception that occurred when the user chose a date that was not within the range set up in General Ledger Dates.

7649: Purchase Order

Corrected an issue in the Totals screen that prevented the Purchase Quantity from being correctly calculated for lines that used alternate units of measure.

7770: Purchase Order

Corrected an issue that could cause a negative On Order value when the user deleted a line that had already been partially or fully canceled.

7557: Recurring Vendor Invoice Release

Corrected an issue that prevented the recurring invoice from being rescheduled if the Maximum Releases was set to any value greater than 0.

7553: Rework Order

Corrected an issue that lead to backorder quantity not being recorded correctly when there was not enough quantity of an outgoing item to fulfill the request.

7669: Rework Order

Corrected an issue that could lead to a negative quantity available value. This is one of the few remaining areas that didn't have automatic saving. As a result, if the user made multiple changes, without manual saves in between, more quantity could seem to be available than was actually the case.

7540: Rework Order Receiving

Corrected an issue that left the rework order in Being Received status if the user started a new receipt, but then abandoned it before saving the receipt.

7700: Sales Invoice Post

Negative tax amounts are now properly accounted for during the invoice post. These can occur when using a Miscellaneous Credit line that is taxable.

7507: Sales Order

When using the feature to Create Vendor Drop Ship Details for Nonstock Lines, the system now runs the cost engine for each line to determine the correct cost on the sales order line. Previously, the PO was created with the correct cost, but the sales order line was left at the default cost. This was being done for performance reasons as the cost only gets out of synch when the item can be sourced from more than one vendor and the vendor chosen for the drop shipment is not the default vendor.

7624: Sales Order

Corrected an issue with the logic that allows the user to change the warehouse after lines have already been entered. If a line had a backorder value, the item could wind up being over committed in the new warehouse.

7643: Sales Order

The user is now prevented from canceling quantity on a kit order detail that has not yet been built. The user should delete the detail instead of canceling.

7758: Sales Order

Corrected an issue that left holds in place when the user performed any action that would prompt them to set the order status to Complete.

7846: Sales Order

Corrected an issue that caused the Cost value to be incorrect in the Totals screen under these conditions: the order was created by being release from a Customer Quote, the quote contained a kit line, that line had a Kit Quote issued against it.

7568: Stock Item Usage Adjustments

Corrected an unhandled exception that occurred when the user tried to post while the grid was empty.

7565: Vendor History Inquiry

Corrected an unhandled exception that occurred when the user input a date value that was less than 1/1/1753 or greater than 12/31/999.

7766: Warehouse Bin Maintenance

Corrected an unhandled exception that occurred when the user didn't have a default warehouse assigned, didn't select a warehouse on the left side of the screen, and tried to use one of the First, Last, Previous, or Next functions
