Customer Contact Maintenance

This screen gives you a means to track various pieces of information about contacts within your customer's organization. These contacts are viewable in various transactional areas and may be used for multiple purposes.

When taking payments, a contact can be viewed in order to retrieve credit card information. Although the credit card information is encrypted and only the last four numbers are visible to the user, this information can be accessed and used by the system to process credit card payments.

Another functional usage for a contact pertains to document delivery. Under certain circumstances, when a contact is tied to a document, such as a sales order, the contact's email address or fax number may be used to send the document when appropriate.
